The project concerns the upgrading and maintenance of the school facilities of the Lower Secondary School (Gymnasium) in the Local Community of Laimos, the Primary School in the Local Community of Agios Germanos, and the Kindergarten in the Local Community of Agios Germanos, Municipality of Prespes.

The interventions for the upgrading of the school facilities can be summarized as follows:

Upgrading works to the external areas of the schools, including paving works, upgrading of the existing sports courts, reconstruction of fencing, construction of seating areas and shelters, installation of playground equipment, landscaping and planting works, etc.

Building works for the upgrading and maintenance of the school facilities, including replacement of windows and doors and floor finishes, installation of suspended ceilings, acoustic insulation of classrooms, thermal and waterproof insulation of roofs, replacement and repair of roof tiles, painting works, etc., as well as the installation of lightweight prefabricated classrooms.

Upgrading works to the electromechanical infrastructure, including replacement of heating pipework, installation of LED lighting and other electrical equipment.
